Do I have to install anything?
No. PestDesk runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer. Use "Add to Home Screen" once and it opens full-screen with its own icon, like a native app — no app store, no updates to manage.
Can other companies see my data?
Never. Each company gets its own isolated workspace enforced by database security rules — your customers, jobs and invoices are readable by your account only.
Can I keep my existing invoice numbers?
Yes. Set your prefix and starting number during setup (for example, continue at 0350) and PestDesk numbers every invoice sequentially from there, synced across your devices.
Does the invoice satisfy Ontario record-keeping?
The invoice includes a "Pesticides Used" table with product names, quantities and PCP registration numbers, plus a separate service & treatment report — the records structural exterminators are expected to keep and hand to customers.
Does it connect to my Google Local Services Ads?
Yes. Connect the Google account that owns the ads and your leads sync into PestDesk within minutes of Google taking them — with the caller's details, what they asked for, and the full message thread. Replies you send from PestDesk go back to the customer through Google, and a lead that was never a real job can be disputed for credit without leaving the app.
Do the texts come from my own number?
No — they're sent from PestDesk's number, and every message says so. Replies come back into the app against the right customer, so the thread stays with the job instead of on somebody's personal phone. Anyone can stop them by replying STOP.
What happens in a basement with no signal?
Nothing changes. Your jobs, customers and price list are already on the phone, so screens open instantly and you can keep working. Anything you change syncs by itself the moment you're back in range.
